A Whole Body Cleanse

Colon hydrotherapy, also referred to as a "colonic" or "colon cleanse," is a method of gently flushing toxins and waste from the colon with filtered, warm water in order to achieve a number of health benefits. During a colon hydrotherapy treatment, a sterile tube is inserted into the rectum which delivers several gallon of water. Each session is performed by a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist in a clean, private therapy room and lasts approximately one hour. Your trained technician will walk you through the treatment, ensuring you are comfortable every step of the way. Consultations are always confidential and complimentary.

What Are The Benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon hydrotherapy is not a cure for any disease or ailment. Rather, it helps promote whole body wellness and aids the large intestine in expelling impurities from the body. Colon cleansing may help alleviate a variety of health issues, such as arthritis, allergies, asthma, constipation, fatigue, parasites, colds, candida and more. Colon hydrotherapy may also kickstart weight loss, increase energy and boost your immune system.

Additional Benefits Include:

  • Minimizes acne, eczema, and allergies.
  • Reduces constipation and bloating
  • Lessens symptoms of PMS and IBS.
  • Speeds up metabolism to kick start weight loss.

How Do I Prepare for a Colon Hydrotherapy Session?

We recommend that you drink a lot of water and refrain from eating at least two hours prior to your appointment. If possible, a diet of vegetables and grains 2-3 days in advance rather than heavy foods will help prepare your colon for the treatment. We advise against drinking alcohol at least 24 hours in advance of a treatment.

What Should I Expect Following a Colon Hydrotherapy Session?

Many of our clients report feeling lighter, cleaner and re-energized after a colon hydrotherapy session. Some have reported clearer skin. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids, avoid raw vegetables, and reduce meat consumption a few days following treatment. Steamed vegetables, fruit and soups are recommended.

The most common experience following a colon hydrotherapy treatment is a slight delay in bowel movements. This is normal and due to the weakness of the colon, not the colon hydrotherapy treatment. Extra water in the colon may cause loose or watery stools, although this is rare and should resolve itself in a few days.

How Many Colon Hydrotherapy Treatments Do I Need?

There is no standard recommendation for the amount colon hydrotherapy sessions a person should have. Depending on your goals, your Certified Colon Hydrotherapist will suggest a regimen for your lifestyle. A client may safely receive up to four treatments in a month's time.
