You’ve been good this year, really good. Especially the last couple of weeks despite all the temptations.
Runs before work. Salads for lunch. Drinking more water. You feel healthier overall.
But, despite all the hard work, you notice that you’re not achieving the body results you want. You look in the mirror and you see cellulite on your upper thighs and buttocks, and it’s discouraging. But luckily, there’s body sculpting.
What is Body Sculpting?
Body sculpting may sound a bit complicated, but it is anything but. It is a nonsurgical treatment performed by a certified technician that can help contour your body. The process was developed in the 1980s as a way to loosen scar tissue, but it was soon discovered that it could also be used to eliminate cellulite. Body sculpting can be performed on either the body or face, and may also boost your immune system and increase circulation.
What is an Body Sculpting treatment like?
During the procedure, the technician massages the affected area with a hand held device, which gently suctions and folds the skin between two rollers, promoting the flushing of fat cells and the production of collagen. A typical session usually lasts for about 30-45 minutes, and although the procedure itself is not painful, a client should always communicate with the technician about the level of pressure he or she is comfortable with. During the procedure, a client wears a one-piece bodysuit, so there’s no need to disrobe.
Is there a recovery period or side effects from Body Sculpting?
What’s great about body sculpting is that there is no down time, and you can return to your normal daily routine immediately. Some of treated areas of the body may be sore following a session, but this usually goes away on its own in a few days.
